The ZANU PF Women’s League has welcomed the reconstitution of District Coordinating Committees (DCCs) and urged party members not to elect dead wood into committee positions. This was said
The Women’s League also reiterated its support for the ZANU PF First Secretary and President Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa. Cde Masuku also dispelled the narrative that there was a crisis in Zimbabwe. The meeting was attended
“We welcome the reconstitution of the DCC structures. Please let’s not elect dead wood into these important structures. It is from these structures that Central Committee and Politburo members will be appointed “Democracy is about competition but people should shun vote buying. And I repeat we should not vote for dead wood. The women’s league should vote for dignified people.
She said the ZANU PF’s Women’s League were solidly behind the leadership of President Mnangagwa.
“As the Women’s League we are 100 per cent, in support of President Mnangagwa. We support the President as he say there is no crisis in Zimbabwe.
“We also support President Mnangagwa for appending his signature to the Global Compensation Deed. This is in line with our 2013 constitution and is not debatable. What is happening is not tantamount to the reversal of the land reform programme. Don’t be lied to,” Cde Masuku said. Cde Masuku thanked the party leadership for introducing the community bakery project which she said was fast becoming a key mobilisation strategy.
