Prince Lindani of the Kingdom of Eswatini has conveyed King Mswati’s congratulatory message to His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa on being elected to the United Nations Security Council non-permanent seat and development trajectory.

Speaking from the State House, Prince Lindani expressed the confidence that the Kingdom of Eswatini in the election.

”We were sent by His Majesty the King, King Mswati III to come and pay a courtesy call and pay his respect to his dear brother. First to congratulate His Excellency on the milestone on what Zimbabwe has achieved thus far, being nominated and elected to represent the continent on the United Nations Security Council seat 2027-2028. His Majesty knows that the President is very capable to handle that situation very carefully,” he said.

”We also came to look at ways on how to strengthen the cooperation between the two countries. We also commended the development we are seeing here in Zimbabwe. It is unmatched. This is what we want for Africa. We are seeing such developments here in Zimbabwe every time we come; the road network system, the lifestyle of the people of Zimbabwe. We want to see how we can share these experiences.”

The areas of cooperation discussed are in agriculture and trade amongst others.
