BE PRODUCTIVE, SHUN DETRACTORS …PRESIDENT URGES PARTY MEMBERS
President Mnangagwa has urged the Party to remain an organised entity which purses the building of a great nation based on productivity and shun chasing after useless agendas set
The Revolutionary Party’s First Secretary and President Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa while opening the 340th ordinary session of the Politburo in Harare reiterated that Party members need to focus on productivity as it is of paramount importance to ensure sustainable pathways to better livelihoods for ordinary Zimbabweans.
President Mnangagwa also urged the Party through various departments to keep in touch with government programmes and set up sound and conducive communication strategies that complement each other.
“I once again urge the Party through various departments as well as through conversations within the Provincial Committees to be the drivers of our economic agenda, focus and programmes.
“Let’s us be wary of chasing after narratives and the agenda set
“I further, exhort the responsible Party departments to keep abreast with communications we are making from the Government side, so that we sustain the issues designed to keep the nation’s priorities on improving the quality of life of the majority of the people.
President Mnangagwa also added that the message from both the Party and government must cascade to the masses in real time.
“Let our message and communication as the government and Party cascade to the generality of the people. There is no room for counter messaging .All [arty structures must feed from the central focus and messaging we articulate from time to time ,and align accordingly. Hakuna mazvake mazvake. Here must be discipline in our messaging and communication approach, ”said President Mnangagwa.
