ZANU PF Treasurer General, Cde Patrick Chinamasa says the people of Zimbabwe need to appreciate His Excellency, President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa’s economic thrust as it seeks to leapfrog it.

Speaking during an interview, Cde Chinamasa said, “You must appreciate the economic thrust that His Excellency has been propounding. It is an economic thrust. You must know that as a country, Africa as a whole, we are streets behind other countries and so we need to lay a proper foundation,” Cde Chinamasa said.

”We are not where America is. We are not where China is. We are not where India is. Time is very important. The decisions we take as a country are very critical to advance the economic interests of the people of Zimbabwe.”
