7th China-Africa People's Forum

The 7th China-Africa People's Forum and the 7th China-Africa Young Leaders Forum were held on 25 July 2024 in Changsha, Hunan Province, China.


 Some of the major Highlights:


1. *Enhancing cooperation* between China and Africa across various sectors including modernisation, infrastructural development, trade, investment, technology advancement, innovation and youth empowerment 

2. *Exchange visits* : 

Provide a vital space to exchange ideas, cultivate leadership skills and drive initiatives that contribute to our shared development agenda

3. *African industrialisation through investments and collaboration* 

Chinas commitment to Africa is evident through initiatives like BRI, GDI, FOCAC and FTA

4. *Innovative industrial reforms in the agricultural sector -* shift towards smart farming - a model worth learning from by African countries

5. *Youth Empowerment* 

Empowering young people from China and Africa to play a more active role in shaping the future of Sino-African relations.

6. *Entrepreneurship and Innovation* - among young people from China and Africa, with a focus on creating opportunities for start-ups and small businesses.

7. *Party Ideology* - political landscapes will not be the same once our young leaders are anchored in the envisaged liberation discoursewhich should be at the centre of the Party's ideological curriculum

8. *Modernisation reforms* - theres is need to strengthen our bonds and forge ahead with determination towards building a shared future.
