UBUNTU NGUBUNTU NGABANTU, AFRICA UNITE, says Pastor Gwatiringa

Manungo Vongai   Africa Day formerly African Freedom Day and African Liberation Day, is the annual commemoration of the foundation of the Organisation of African Unity (OAU) on the 25 May 1963.   It is celebrated in various countries on the African continent, as well as around the world. The organisation was transformed into the African Union on 9 July 2002 in Durban, South Africa, but the holiday continues to be celebrated on the 25 May.   The greatest tragedy for any human being is to live a life without understanding who you are, worse when one tries to live the life of another. God has made humans unique for a purpose.   In an interview with a local church leader Pastor Iverne Gwatiringa, he mentioned that he highly esteems Africa day as it ushers in the realization that African people must stand united knowing that they are an integral part of the entire globe.   "Standing on the mantra Ubuntu, ngomuntu, ngabantu we pride ourselves in the reach communistic moral fibre that runs in all of us.   "As a church leader, Africa Day hinges the picture of a rainbow in the hearts of both men and women. Despite our cultural, political, and religious differences if we unite our diversity, we will only bring beauty more than the differences. This is the time we call for #SayNoToXenophobia and all the ills associated with comparing each other when we should be complimenting each other. Let our pulpits be an instrument of peace and unity" said Pastor Gwatiringa   Pastor Gwatiringa went on to explain that, it still remains a paradox if not a mystery, how other continents would give up everything to be in Africa yet Africans shy away from such a rich heritage of natural beauty that can only be created   Africa must rise and realize its optimum best because it is the best. Adorned with the super splendiferous sights, amazing animals, majestic mountains, celestial countryside, and loving people; Let Africa rise.   "I am proudly African, a child of God, fearfully and wonderfully made. A united, rich, developed and productive Africa begins with me" added Pastor Gwatiringa.   #AfricaDay, Stay Home and Stay Safe. COVID 19 is real.
