ZANU PF Headquarters Football Club co-chairman Cde Office Bland has commended the cordial relations between the Party and Russian Embassy in Zimbabwe.This follows the successful hosting of the matches played to mark the 470th anniversary of diplomatic service by Russia. The Russian Embassy also played matches with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in matches that the ZANU PF Football Club dominated.The Club beat the Russian Embassy 3-0 and the Foreign Affairs 1-0 while the Russian Embassy beat the Foreign Affairs team 7-6.“We look forward to many more friendlies with the Russian Embassy as we help build relations through these social activities. I urge other partners to come on board and would like to thank all those who participated in the successful hosting of the event,” Cde Bland said.“All in all it was a great mini tournament and all the lads enjoyed the evening as they had a great run.”
