Strategic Ambiguity backfires for Chamisa- Cde Mutsvangwa

By Ransom Mandhlazi

ZANU PF Secretary for Information and Publicity Cde Christopher Mutsvangwa said the former Citizens Coalition for Change, Nelson Chamisa shot his own feet as his strategic ambiguity concept led to his demise.

Chamisa, the embattled leader dropped a resignation letter quitting CCC days ago.

Addressing a press conference, at the Party Headquarters today, Cde Chris Mutsvangwa said that the issue of strategic ambiguity which was used by Chamisa to rule CCC with an iron fist has backfired resulting in losing grip on controlling

“Strategic ambiguity was a cover up used by Chamisa for him to implement dictatorial tendencies in order to abuse power in CCC. Now it has backfired on him he has been forced to resign because he can no longer control the opposition. There are now many contradictions in that party. It was bound to catch up with Chamisa because he did not want a party with structures. We all work with structures because as human beings we are social,” said Cde Mutsvangwa.

“When it comes to running the country we all resort to using structures because we work socially. That is the distinction between human beings and other animals, Chamisa did not want a party with a constitution, structures and that has caught up with him, it was bound to catch up with him. We are happy that the original members of that party are now seeing Chamisa for who he is,” said Cde Mutsvangwa.

The opposition, led by Chamisa have been battling with infighting since its defeat to President Mnangangwa in the just ended elections.

Recalls by its interim CCC secretary general Sengezo Tshabangu are some of the results of strategic Ambiguity which were implemented by the opposition leadership into the 2023 harmonized election.
