PRESIDENT MNANGAGWA QUESTIONS THE RELEVANCE OF INTERNATIONAL ELECTION OBSERVERS

      President and First Secretary of ZANU PF Cde E.D Mnangagwa has questioned the role of international election observers following Malawi’s peaceful elections.   Malawi had its elections mid-year in an election re-run that was not marred   Zimbabwe’s last election were also peaceful after calls   Speaking during the State Banquet held for Malawian President Lazarus Chakwera yesterday, President Mnangagwa commended the peaceful election process in Malawi mid year.   “I should congratulate Malawi, for the first time in our region, possibly on the continent. Here is a country which has had the general elections without foreign observers, without the United Nations, AU, SADC and almost all these civil society organisations observing elections,” President Mnangagwa.   “But they were successful, peaceful elections conducted
