His Excellency, President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa has today met H.E. Li Xi, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Secretary of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline and Inspection Cde Li Xi who is number 7 in the CPC.

Cde Li was based mostly in Northwest China where he was the party secretary. He also  served as the the Deputy Party Secretary of Shanghai before being Governor of Liaoning.

From 2017 to 2022, he was the Party Secretary of Guangdong Province and a member of the 19th Politburo of the Chinese Communist Party.
