President Emmerson Mnangagwa is a principled leader who has stood up in shaping the economic policies of Zimbabwe in order to empower the locals, said Vice President Mohadi.Introducing His Excellency, the President at the launch of the National Renewable Energy and Biofuels policies in Harare, Vice President Colonel (RTD) Kembo Mohadi commended the Head of State and Government for accelerating policies towards #Vision2030 aimed at achieving an upper middle income economy.Vice President Mohadi who is also ZANU PF Second Secretary, saluted President Mnangagwa as a visionary leader who has reduced the cost of doing business in the country as well as his re-engagement policy which seeks to transform Zimbabwe into a regional logistics hub by opening up various lines of investment opportunities.“He (President Mnangagwa) has stood up in shaping the economic policies of this great nation. He has built up critical enabling national infrastructure such as roads, rail, energy, irrigation while stepping up food security through enhanced agriculture.‘’His mantra Zimbabwe is open for business has opened up various lines of investment opportunities. Today we have attracted nearly US$20billion dollars in foreign direct investment commitments.“May I say His Excellency, Cde President Mnangagwa has a vision that Zimbabwe be an Upper Middle Income economy by 2030. He is a cadre and a man of his word.‘’The Ministry of Energy and Power Development also wishes to achieve access to sustainable and modern clean energy by the year 2030,” said Vice President Mohadi.Vice President Mohadi also saluted President Mnangagwa for the role he played during the liberation struggle which brought Independence.Zimbabwe turns 40 this year.
