Zimbabwe has celebrated outstanding women from across various sectors whose dedication, leadership and service continue to inspire national development.

The honourees include pioneers from government, the judiciary, defence, aviation, business, education, policing, tourism and sport, reflecting the growing influence of women in decision-making and national transformation.

Among those recognised are First Lady Dr Auxillia Mnangagwa, Minister of Defence Cde Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri, Senate president Cde Mabel Chinomona, Minister of Tourism and Hospitality Industry Hon Barbara Rwodzi, IOC president Dr Kirsty Coventry, and Chief Justice Elizabeth Gwaunza, among other trailblazers.

The awards underscore the resilience, excellence and transformative role of women in advancing Zimbabwe’s development agenda and Vision 2030 aspirations.
