The newly appointed ZANU PF 20th National People’s Conference Fundraising Committee has devoted itself to meeting the set financial target ahead of the event slated for month end.

According to Secretary for Finance Cde Patrick Chinamasa, said President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa during the 30th of September appointed a Fundraising Committee chaired by Cde Phillip Chiyangwa, so today was inaugural meeting of this Fundraising Committee and I had the pleasure to hand to each of these members Letters of Appointment," Cde Chinamasa said.

"The Committee members were appointed because of their special capacities to raise funding. I am confident that the financial challenges that the Party is facing will be a thing of the past."

Speaking after receiving his Letter of Appointment, the Fundraising Committee Chairman Cde Phillip Chiyangwa said "for this forthcoming National People’s Conference taking place on the 27th to the 29th, we are looking at USD5 million dollars and we want those friends of the Party, of the President who members of this Committee are going to approach to be very generous. 

Other Committee members are Cde James Makamba, Cde Supa Mandiwanzira, Cde Patience Tapoma, Cde Betty Kaseke and Cde John Paradza.
