Pseudo academia and MDC-A rabble rouser, Dr Pedzisai Ruhanya, has confessed to having hypnopompic dreams following fears of imminent arrest after he was sucked in the Harare City Council land scam. Ruhanya got a residential stand in Westlea without following laid out procedure according to city council documents under investigation He was implicated alongside MDC-A Secretary for International Relations, Gladys Hlatywayo who was allocated residential stand number 11416 in Westlea for free. This latest development was first leaked to the ZANU PF Department Information and Publicity The fears were corroborated He tweeted, “Had a very bad dream last night. Saw violent abductions of citizens, inhumane and degrading treatment. My sleep was cut short. The incidents were bad. My hope is that it’s just a dream that there are no such plans in the coming nights.” Meanwhile, ZANU PF Director for Information and Publicity, Cde Tafadzwa Mugwadi, declared that Government was serious in its fight against corruption. “The zero-tolerance to corruption mantra will not spare the pretentious MDC Alliance holier-than-thou elements in the council who are illegally allocating stands among their senior members in MDC corruptly. “Among the corrupt beneficiaries are Pedzisai Ruhanya, Gladys Hlatywayo and many others as shown in the details below. This is why the MDC has been calling for the release of a corrupt Mayor (Hebert Gomba) because they were beneficiaries to the proceeds of corruption at a time where even the majority of their members in Harare whom they are mobilizing to demonstrate on 31 July are homeless,” said the firebrand Information Director. Cde Mugwadi said all councils would not be spared under the Government’s crusade of cleansing local authorities of corruption. “They complain of catch and release but now they are demanding the release of a corrupt official. Corrupt Councils must fall,” he said.
