Johane the 5th of Africa International Church Founder, Archbishop Andby Makururu has urged the church to continue praying for an accident free holiday season.
Speaking to an exhuberant Johane the 5th of Africa International Church congregation in Beitbridge, Archbishop Makururu took time to teach those present and viewing online, to love their country and defend it
"As the year comes to an end, we are praying for an accident free holiday season, unity and development of our country under the able leadership of His Excellency, President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa," Archbishop Makururu said.
"Let us Love our country, defend it and pray for it. President Mnangagwa understands our role that we as a church must pray for its country. This is why we have the mantra, Nyika inonamatigwa nevene vayo. We are aware of this role and will not depart from it."
Opening the scriptures, Archbishop Makururu urged the congregates to heed to the teachings of the church which uphold patriotism. He further taught from the scriptures on the story of Ananias and Safira, in a move aimed at instilling discipline within the church and country.
The congregation danced to a newly released song "Shumba Murambwi" which speaks volumes about His Excellency, President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa's development achievements.
