Secretary for War Veterans League Cde Douglas Mahiya says a clean environment ensures good health. 

He said these remarks while addressing ZANU PF Party staff during their clean up exercise at the headquarters this Friday.

National Clean Up exercise is held up every first Friday of the month as declared by His Excellency, President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa.

"We are here following the President's directive to ensure clean environs. The greatest gift is good health because there is no life without proper health," Cde Mahiya said.

"When you are in good health you are able to look for money. This is why we must ensure that we keep our environment clean. With good health we will be able to achieve vision 2030 as we reduce the medical import bill.

Politburo member Cde Dr Sidney Sekeramayi also took time to say, "Leading by example is the only way that people can learn to ensure a clean environment."

The Environment and Tourism donated litter bins to all Departments as part of its role to keep the environment clean.
